Equestria - A Brief Overview

Equestria is a small eastern suburb of Pretoria located between Simon Vermooten and Solomon Mahlangu Roads and bordering on the N4 highway and Lynnwood Road.

Secure Living

As the name suggests, the association with horses in its recent past is strong. However as development moved east from the leafy suburb of Lynnwood in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, the rural nature of Equestria started to change and evolve. Small holdings and farmland was rezoned and subdivided, all of this associated with the push for secure living in smaller properties. Equestria witnessed this first-hand as large plots of land were replaced with sectional title and full title housing developments.

Rural Charm

Equestria is a modern suburb yet has kept much of its rural charm. It is conveniently close to shops, schools, hospitals, churches, the city centre and major highways.

Properties are affordable and varied providing the ideal opportunity for first time buyers who want to enter the property market.
